I have not used the chiropractic services at this location but I have used their massage therapist, Shannon. I had previously used Shannon at her prior location and followed her to Sport and Wellness Chiropractic. I 100% recommend her if you are looking for a massage therapist.

Walked in here about a month and half ago not being able to walk or sit comfortably because of my back and SI joint and 3 sessions later I just finished a 14 mile hike in the smokies. Would have never expected that if you asked me if I could do that a month ago. Best thing about DR John is you can tell he does not try to sell you products or prolong the amount of sessions you need with him. HIs goal is get you back to 100% in the least amount of session possible. Highly recommend and would return

He fixes all the things! I've been to him after doing dumb things in sports and during pregnancy. The relief is instant, and it typically only takes a day or two to feel fully healed after he gets everything aligned properly. He always explains what he's doing. He's easy to talk to. Very supportive of my goals. His pricing is reasonable, and he encourages more of an as needed scheduling than weekly appointments that strain the budget.

I have been seeing Dr. John for over 6 years. He is a fantastic chiropractic doctor. His office has free parking and easy access. Dr. John abids by covid regulations and requires mask for in office visits. Office visits are pre scheduled online via the website. You will be seen on time and there is no waiting required. If you have a appointment at 9:30 you will be seen at 9:30. Dr. John is a very kind and listens to the patient. Adjustments take 10-15 minutes. First time visitors visit time is longer. Dr John at this time doesn't accept insurance.

The absolute best in Knoxville. Dr. John is actually concerned with solving the problem for the long-term not just repeated visits. I would recommend him to anybody.

So, here's the thing: He's on time, a 11:15 appointment, starts at 11:15 there is no waiting. He's very thorough, listens to what's bothering you, is as inexpensive as you'll find, AND you feel so much better after a visit. I've been to a number of chiropractors, none have been as successful as Dr. John helping me with my back/hips/neck issues, and every one of them charged more than Dr. John does. The fact he charges less allows me to go more often for the same expenditure. More visits mean I'm aligned more regularly and feel better.No long term commitments for appointments. Want to go every six months, great, how about every week, that works too. I've been several places where they set up a "twice a week for four weeks" routine, and I can't afford to buy groceries when I'm done. Not with Dr John, whatever works for you is the course of treatment he'll follow.Here's an example - "My knee has been giving me some problems" "Let's take a look". He treats it, provides feedback as to what's going on. No additional appointment, no guesswork, always a recommendation on what you can do at home to help improve the condition. The improved condition of the knee is one thing, the peace of mind it brings to find out it's not serious, is equally as valuable.If you're unhappy with the results you're getting from your chiropractor, give him a try. He's the best I've found.

There’s no lie that my body is wrecked from Military service to powerlifting but for the first time in over 1 year I am able to sit cross legged on the floor without any pain. Dr. John Dandelski has been a godsend for me. I have a significant case of scoliosis that causes pain to flare up (in my head, back, neck, and sciatic nerve) from time to time. I always leave Dr. John's office feeling better. One of the best things about Dr. John is that while he advises patients on how to best maintain their orthopedic health, he doesn't use the "hard sell" tactics of some other practitioners. I'd recommend Dr. John to anyone suffering from orthopedic pain--whether that person is an athlete or not.

Dr. John is the best! He was the first chiropractor that I had ever visited. He helped me tremendously with the pain I had in my neck and back. I was apprehensive about chiropractic care, but he helped me understand it better and showed me how much it can help with pain. I recently moved and I am now further away from his office, but it is worth the drive. I had called my insurance to ask about if they would pay for out network coverage at his office since he has started accepting insurance. They told me that there was another chiropractor five minutes from me that was in-network with them and recommended I try them. I had never tried another chiropractor before. I had been pleased with Dr. John and had great results, but now he was almost 50 minutes away. I decided that even though I was pleased with Dr. John I would try a chiropractor that was closer to me and that was in-network with my insurance since I have met my out of pocket maximum for the year already and all of my visits would be free for the rest of the year. After one visit to the other chiropractor that was closer to me I realize even more now how great of a chiropractor Dr. John is. The other chiropractor refused to adjust me without x-rays. Dr. John has never needed them and can adjust me fine without them. The other chiropractor told me that I would have to pay over $1500 up front (even with insurance) for him to continue to treat me. He said I would need 28 treatments and all of these extra therapies. Dr. John has NEVER asked me for money upfront or told me that I would have to commit to a certain amount of treatments. While I was at the other chiropractor's office I saw him treat about 15 people in 2 hours! He literally spent about 45 seconds to one minute with each person. Dr John spends 15 minutes with you. I always feel like Dr. John gives me his undivided attention and addresses all of my issues each visit. Dr. John is the only chiropractor I will see from now on. I will drive 50 minutes and pay $45 to see him even though I can drive 5 minutes and see another chiropractor. If you are looking for a chiropractor that listens to you and cares about your health and well being Dr. John is the one to see.

After nearly a year of physical therapy and chiropractic for a shoulder injury, I went to Dr. John. He fixed my shoulder in the first session! The injury I thought I'd need surgery for was gone in less than 5 minutes. I was back to swimming that same week. Thanks Dr. John!

My treatment with Dr. John has freed me from muscle relaxers and the regular use of a traction device. My neck feels better than it has felt since my neck injury 15 years ago! I've been to quite a few chiropractors and physical therapists (and even had some consults with some scary military neurosurgeons). None of them produced the results that Dr. John has!

Dr. John is awesome! I saw him while undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and now, after, for maintenance visits.while in treatment, having chiropractic adjustment helped ease some fatigue and Dr. John was able to recommend a support pillow that I still usrusr. I don't have any long term injuries or significant issues but I certainly benefit from a once monthly adjustment to help with spinal alignment and I generally feel better after leaving his office. His schedule is really open and helpful in accommodating those 8-5 workers like myself. I would recommend his services to anyone, even of they don't have long term issues or sports related issues because the process of being adjusted helps me be more aware of my body and when something is out of whack, now I can usually tell and know when to call him for a maintenance visit!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. John. He is the first doctor I have seen that actually makes sense! He is professional, patient, friendly, and most importantly, quite passionate about relieving pain and enhancing well-being/performance. I'm an active person and recreational triathlete who's suffered from hip pain and ankle issues for years, which ultimately culminated in a torn tendon in my right ankle in early 2010. My podiatrist put me in a boot for three months--after taking four months to diagnose the problem!For five months after getting out of the boot, I had constant issues trying to return to running. I tried the gradual "return to running" program my podiatrist recommended and still ended up injured. Finally, I consulted with Dr. John Dandelski of Sport & Wellness Chiropractic and he literally changed my life.I'd gotten to the point where I questioned whether I'd ever be able to run again, let alone enter another triathlon--really depressing since it was such an important part of my life (for the previous 5 years I'd raced at least a half Ironman or Ironman every year as well as a couple marathons). Dr. John has an extremities specialization--one of the few chiropractors in the region who has it--and was able to show me exactly what was wrong with my foot structure that set me up for the torn tendon--and how much worse it could get if I didn't take preventative measures (why didn't my highly regarded sports podiatrist in DC explain any of this? Or the podiatrist I went to for a second opinion?). In addition to a full exam and adjustments, he fit me with custom orthotics and gave me a serious of exercises to help address the root of my issue with my ankle as well as my "lazy glute" (a common ailment among us desk workers, I've realized after some googling) to treat my issues at the core rather than just treat the pain.Dr. John is by far the most knowledgeable and thorough of any chiropractor, physical therapist, orthopedist, or doctor of any sort I've been to. He's like a chiropractic detective who doesn't rest until he figures out the root of your problem, looking for clues in seemingly unrelated symptoms, accidents, or injuries I may have sustained even years earlier.And as for racing--I just finished my first half marathon in years and am looking forward to another season of triathlons. I'd recommend Dr. John without hesitation.
